About Us

In Arkansas, water source varies a lot by region. Central Arkansas cities draw from reservoirs, while much of the Delta in the east relies on groundwater that can carry iron and manganese. That iron leaves orange stains in tubs and toilets and can foul a carbon filter quickly. Clear Drop Filtration handles whole house water filtration in Plumerville, AR by testing iron, hardness and chlorine first. City homes usually need a sediment stage and a carbon tank. Well homes with iron need an oxidizing stage or a backwashing filter ahead of the carbon, or the main media will clog.
